About Me
My Bio
Dave was born in Boston, Massachusetts the middle child of 7. He graduated from Brockton High School in June 1975. In June of 1976 he joined the U.S. Army National Guard as a Field Artillery Specialist. In June of 1978, he switched services to the U.S. Air Force where he spent the next 30-years serving his country in a myriad of organizational and leadership positions. Upon his service retirement he volunteered as a Service Officer for a local chapter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). His leadership skills and reputation earned him election to key organizational positions such as, Chapter Vice-Commander, Commander, State Adjutant, and State Judge Advocate. He also was the founder and First President of the Oklahoma DAV Commanders and Adjutants Association. At the same time, he was volunteering with the DAV he became a Tram Operator at the OKC Zoo, and also worked as a computer operator and videographer for Triple A baseball. Dave’s organizational and leadership skills were identified at the age of 16 when he was asked to coach a recreational baseball team. From that point on Dave has led a multitude of committees, groups and organizations. He loves people and is not afraid to take on any leadership role regardless of the challenge. In June 2018, he moved to Arizona with his wife of 36-years for a short-lived retirement life. As Founder and President of Career Leadership Consulting, Dave believes with the right tools and guidance anyone can accomplish their dreams. Dave currently serves as a Governing Board Member for Buckeye Union High School District #201. Additionally, Dave is on the Board of Trustees for Arizona's Future Business Leaders of America, and a Board Member for the Arizona Business & Marketing Education and Community Media Technologies. Dave loves to travel, is an avid sports athlete and fan, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
